Privacy policy

This policy was last updated on 23 October 2026.

This policy explains what information American Health Career Solutions ("AHCS," "we," "us") collects through this website, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

It covers this website only. Records created after you enroll in or attend a class are covered separately — see Student records.

The short version

  • If you fill out our interest form, we receive what you type in, by email.
  • If you book a class, you book it on Calendly. Calendly collects your booking details and shares them with us.
  • When you book a class, we send Meta (Facebook and Instagram) a hashed copy of your email address, name, and phone number so Meta can tell us whether our ads led to the booking. Under California law, that counts as sharing your information for advertising. You can opt out.
  • We are a training provider, not a healthcare provider. We do not collect health information through this website.

What we collect and why

The interest form

Our interest form appears on several pages of this site. It asks for:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The program you are interested in
  • Your preferred schedule: weekday, weekend, or either
  • An optional message

The form also contains a hidden field that only automated spam programs fill in. People using the form never see it.

When you submit the form, our website emails your answers to our company inbox using an email delivery service called Resend. We use them to reply to you and to contact you about the program you asked about. Submitting the form is not an application or an enrollment request.

If our email service fails when you submit, you will see a message asking you to call us instead. We keep a record that a submission failed, but not what you typed.

Booking a class with Calendly

Our certification course pages show a booking calendar provided by Calendly. When you book, you are using Calendly's system, not ours. Calendly collects your name, email address, phone number, and any answers you give to its booking questions, and handles them under Calendly's privacy policy. Calendly shares your booking details with us so we can run the class and contact you.

The calendar loads from Calendly's servers, so Calendly receives standard information from your browser, such as your IP address. While it loads, Calendly and services it uses set their own cookies (see Cookies). The link to request a weekend class also opens Calendly.

This website does not take payments. Payment for classes is made in person.

Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta. To measure and improve that advertising, we use two Meta tools: the Meta Pixel, which runs in your browser, and the Meta Conversions API, which sends information from our server to Meta.

The pixel loads on every page of this site. It tells Meta which pages you view and when you complete a class booking, and it sets Meta's cookies. We have set it up so that it does not send what you type into our forms.

When you book a class, our server confirms the booking with Calendly and then sends Meta:

  • Your email address, name, and phone number, each converted with SHA-256 hashing before it leaves our server
  • Your country (United States), also hashed
  • The course you booked and its price
  • Your device's IP address and browser type, which Meta requires and which are not hashed
  • Meta's cookie identifiers from your browser, if you have them

Your browser also reports the booking to Meta through the pixel, without your name or contact details. Both reports carry the same booking code, so Meta counts the booking once.

Hashing replaces your details with a code. Meta can still use that code to match the booking to a Facebook or Instagram account, so this is not anonymous. Meta uses the match to tell us whether our ads led to bookings and to show our ads to people more likely to book. Meta handles this information under Meta's privacy policy.

We do not send Meta anything when you submit the interest form.

Under California law, sending this information to Meta is sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can opt out of this sharing — see Your choices.

Email

Our company email runs on Google Workspace. Messages you send us, including interest form submissions delivered to our inbox, are stored there under Google's privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers receive standard request information every time you load a page: your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, your browser type, and the page that referred you. Vercel keeps this in server logs that we can see. Our own server code also writes error messages to these logs.

Website analytics

This site includes Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are part of our hosting.

  • Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies. Vercel identifies a visit with a code built from the request that resets every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next or across other websites.
  • Speed Insights measures how fast our pages load. It records the page, your browser, device type, operating system, network speed, and country, without tying them to you or your IP address.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service.

Maps

Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map of our location. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. Our “Get directions” links open Google Maps.

What we do not collect

AHCS is a training and certification provider. We are not a healthcare provider, and we do not provide medical care.

We do not collect or store protected health information about visitors to this website, and nothing you submit through this website is treated as medical information. Please do not send us health information through the website.

We do not collect payment card details on this website.

Student records

Records we create when you take a class — your enrollment details, attendance, and proof of certification — are not website data, and the retention periods under How long we keep information do not apply to them. We keep them for as long as we need to confirm that a certification is valid, and for as long as the organizations whose certifications we issue, and California law, require. We will update this section when our CNA program is approved.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. These are the cookies on this site and what sets them:

  • Meta: _fbp and _fbc, set by the Meta Pixel. _fbp identifies your browser to Meta. _fbc is set when you arrive by clicking a Facebook or Instagram ad, and records that click. Both last 90 days. The pixel also keeps similar values in your browser's local storage.
  • Calendly: set while the booking calendar loads, by Calendly and services it uses, including Cloudflare (security) and Stripe (payments and fraud prevention). These are governed by Calendly's privacy policy.
  • Google: may be set by the map on our Contact page.
  • Vercel: Vercel's analytics does not use cookies.

We do not set any other cookies of our own.

You can block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies, in your browser's settings. The site will still work, though the booking calendar may not.

How long we keep information

  • Interest form submissions in our inbox: kept for up to 24 months
  • Booking details in our Calendly account: kept for up to 36 months
  • Server logs at Vercel: kept for up to one day
  • Information Meta receives is kept under Meta's privacy policy.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the services that run this website and our business:

  • Resend, to deliver interest form submissions to our inbox
  • Google Workspace, for our email
  • Calendly, for class bookings
  • Vercel, for hosting and analytics
  • Meta, for advertising measurement, as described above

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Your choices

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, this site treats it as a request to opt out of sharing. The Meta Pixel does not load, and we send Meta nothing about your booking. Learn about GPC.
  • Browser settings: you can block cookies or use a content blocker. If the Meta Pixel is blocked, your browser sends Meta nothing, but our server can still report a booking to Meta. To stop that too, use GPC or contact us.
  • Meta's ad settings: in your Facebook or Instagram account, the ad preferences in Accounts Center let you control how Meta uses information from other websites to show you ads. See Meta's privacy policy.
  • Ask us: email privacy@goahcs.com and ask us to stop sharing your information with Meta.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and share it
  • Delete it
  • Correct it if it is wrong
  • Opt out of our sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Your choices)

We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can ask an authorized agent to make a request for you. Before acting on a request, we may ask you for information to confirm your identity. We will respond within 45 days.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
